They charged $14 for the box (ridiculous markup – these cost $2-6 anywhere else), $4 for “packaging materials,” and then tacked on $4 for “packing services” even though we did 100% of the packing ourselves and just wanted tape. We already had a shipping label, but they still hit us with every possible add-on fee; for example: „labels“ for another 2.60. Total gouge: $25.09 just for a box and basics. NOT including the freight! Franchise model clearly incentivizes ripping off customers who try to save money. Go to U-Haul or Home Depot for boxes instead – way cheaper and no BS “service” charges for doing nothing. 2 stars since at least we were able to send the stuff off and they were ok friendly-ish.
