This is the second time I visit this USPS location, and unfortunately the customer service experience has been consistently disappointing. The person attending the counter always selects the “smiley face” to rate their own service at the end of the transaction, yet they don’t even offer a simple smile, a greeting, or any sign of courtesy. It honestly feels like they don’t enjoy their job, as their attitude shows no willingness to assist and does not reflect customer service standards at all.
Today I told her directly that I do not appreciate her selecting the happy face rating when I am clearly not satisfied with the service provided. I simply asked for a small piece of tape and politely asked if she believed the box was secured enough, and her response was, “Up to you,” in a dismissive tone. Being helpful doesn’t cost anything, and a little kindness goes a long way, especially when working with the public.
I hope USPS takes this feedback seriously and ensures that customer service is delivered with professionalism and basic courtesy.

Extremely rude. I was the only customer and asked a simple question. Clerk gave me a snippy one word answer. I asked her to please explain and she just handed me a form without looking up.

The people who work there have the worst attitude. Linda who works in the morning is always on FaceTime or on her cell phone. And then gives you attitude when you ask for help. The beach needs to do better.
