I usually thought it was ok in this place till they have this guy I keep getting. Twice both times was mailing out cards to friends. These cards are special cards they open up to look like flower bouquets and Everytime he took it he would be it and then asks me what's in there!!! WTH. I said don't bend it!!!! I said it's a card. Like he wasn't getting it. He talked very robotic not personable oh and I get it have to ask the questions they ask everyone. But really. Like is there liquid, chemicals batteries etc in the package, I'm like no!!! It's a card!!!!!!
If I see him there I will certainly make sure I go to other person to help me.

First let me start off by saying I love all the members behind the main counter. They are all super sweet and kind. I also want to say I adore my mail lady.
HOWEVER, there is an absolutely awful woman behind the pickup counter. She is rude, she is condescending, she cuts you off during explanations.... shes awful and as I am reading these other reviews about her I have to assume shes got something against the Hispanic community. Which is 90% of the customer base at this location. I have reported her.
It was over the fact that yes, my address wasnt correct on my id since I haven't updated it. I was only expressing my confusion with her because I have been able (on multiple occasions) to pick up my mail inspite of this. The other workers would just simply find my mail with my name and then before passing my packages to me, they would just ask me to verify the address. I tried to express this to her and she interrupted me VERY RUDELY. She asked me the address and before I finished answering her question she said nope wrong and tossed my id back onto the counter. I was very confused. I proceeded to finish telling her my address and she said "nodding your head and telling me the address isnt giving me anything." I then responded and told her "I apologize but it seems like you are having a bad day", she responded "my day was actually great until you came along" WHAT???? WHAT DID I DO??? I told her I will be contacting the "higher-ups" and she smiled menacingly and said "oh please... do that" i have also witnessed her being rude to her co-workers including my poor mail lady! Who is infact hispanic!
Avoid her at all costs. She has medium to long grey washed out blonde hair, glasses and shes thin. You'll know its her when she looks at you with hate written all over that horrible dead stare. And definitely dont expect kindness from her if you are of color. Any color. She seems to be rude to us specifically.
I am mexican american.

We just moved to Lehigh Acres and went in to talk to them about our new address etc. We arrived at the counter to meet Brandon and what a pleasure he was to work with. I do a lot of business with the Post Office, sending packages etc and I look forward to having a Post Office where they are happy to work with you and help you solve any issue. Thank you Brandon for making my first visit a good one.

I did not give them only one star because their employees DO work quickly at the front counter. HOWEVER . . .
Employees acknowledge that they will NOT pick up the phone at the local branch. There's no hope of it being picked up.
When you have an issue with mail, you have to go IN to the branch, then wait at a door with MUCH signage that says, "Only ring bell once." You ring it once, and no one comes for 3 minutes. You ring it again, and still no one comes until almost FIVE minutes. Then, to resolve your issue, they need your driver's license which they disappear with for another couple minutes. At the end of my 40-minute time investment, no one could tell me why my mail was being returned to senders when I never took any action (hold, forward, etc.) and have been living in the house for 7 years.
In year one of my living in Lehigh, this USPS demanded that I provide a list of names of people living in the house or they would stop delivering my mail. This was during Trump1.0. I refused and told them they wanted me to use unofficial forms to report private information, and to simply deliver the GD mail if it was addressed to my address, regardless whose name was on it. After mailing the postmaster and PM General, they backed off.
This branch almost ALWAYS has a long line. 6-7 people and they'll only put one person at the counter. 8-15+ and you might get two people at the counter. Usually, they're nice, but sometimes, they can be bossy, aloof, or dismissive.
"Kevin" is the name of the postmaster, if you need assistance via mail (e.g. you're disabled and can't drive to stand in two different lines for 15 minutes to get an answer).
