  Only one person with the line out the door. Last package delivered to me went through town three times before ever being delivered to me. And they wonder why they are going bankrupt.

  I’ve had consistently frustrating experiences at this USPS location on South 14th Street in Leesburg. The biggest issue is how understaffed it always seems—there are multiple service windows, but almost every time I visit, only one employee is helping a long line of customers. Wait times are excessive and completely avoidable with better management. On top of that, something as simple as changing a post office box lock takes over a week because apparently there’s only one person handling it for the entire city. That kind of delay is unacceptable, especially when people are waiting on important items—I personally have had medical devices and essential household items held up because of this. When trying to pick up mail, the process feels unnecessarily complicated, with constant runarounds instead of straightforward assistance. I was even told that mail could be delivered to my home, but the carrier “doesn’t have to,” so it just isn’t done. Overall, this location feels poorly managed, inefficient, and indifferent to customers’ time and needs.

  It is so frustrating when the mail carrier puts my package into another person's mailbox at the front gate mail box farm and then scans it as delivered in/at my mailbox ... but I go to get my mail and it's not IN MY MAILBOX ... and then try and get somebody at the Leesburg Post Office to tell them the mail carrier made a mistake. This has happened to me a couple of times and since there are 640 homes in this senior park, I imagine other people have had the same thing happen to them. SO I come home and think I'm able to reach the Leesburg PO by phone ... NOPE ... you've got to call an 800 number. I had the option to have an agent call me back ... it was about ten or so minutes. She was pleasant enough for a Friday late afternoon but when tracking says IT WAS DELIVERED but not to me ... good luck!! PS so many times when the mail carrier is at that front gate mail box farm, there are residents who will interrupt them so that's probably why these mistakes happen.

  Do not send any gift card through this post office..someone stole 60 dollars it just disappeared ..they never found and I never got received anything back.. it's a shame they have dishonest employees working
