- LRLee Roller5 days ago1.0FedEx has fallen from being one of the top carriers in the world to an apathetic bunch of also rans. I was told by FedEx on 2/25 that my package would be delivered on 2/26. I waited home the entire day to receive it. It was on a truck and out for delivery at 8:37 AM. And then at 7 PM I am suddenly informed of a "delay" and it will not be delivered until tomorrow. This was sent via 2-day service. 2/26 was the second day. FedEx failed to make the deliver date on a guaranteed service and all indications are that it was on the truck and the driver just decided not to deliver everything and return to the delivery center. I cannot get any actual explanation from customer service. I cannot speak to anyone at the delivery center and I'm just expected to wait all day AGAIN for a package that they already failed to deliver when they said they would. And this is not the first time FedEx has done this. Why anyone would count on this shoddy outfit for any shipment that mattered is beyond me. I will never use them again, or buy from sellers that ship via FedEx. Customers deserver to be treated better than FedEx treats them now.
