Having literally worked at a post office drastically busier than this one, I find it pretty horrible that you can't man your own phone. There is also a previous review complaining about this which tells me the manager of this post office is too incompetent to even react to already available feedback to solve a very easy to resolve issue, or hell just pick up the phone himself, but what would I know I just work in quality assurance for a billion dollar company and spend thousands in shipping each year. To be clear not complaining about all post offices or even all the people at this post office, just specifically the incompetent person managing this one.
