I stopped by this UPS Store to drop off my Amazon return. I couldn’t find my tape at home, so the first thing I asked Lucas at the counter was if I could borrow some tape. His response was “no, the tape is expensive, I’ll charge you $2.” I was honestly shocked — this has never happened to me before at any UPS location. I politely asked Lucas if there was some kind of mistake, but he said no and confirmed he would charge me $2 for about two feet of UPS tape. So I left my item there, went to Publix, bought an entire roll of tape for $2, and finished packing my item myself. This is ridiculous — how does UPS charge $2 for two feet of tape when you can buy a whole roll for the same price?

Second bad experience with this store. This time the stakes were high and the overnight envelope we needed to ship had a high value content. We informed the guy that this was special to us and needed to get to destination by 10 am next day. My wife even asked him if it needed to go in a special package he said no. Today we are scrambling to find the package and UPS has no clue where it is. The store is bad so is UPS. Just indifferent people. The new UPS store near the Pavilion is much better.

I dropped off a sample to a lab for asbestos testing. The company had provided the box and shipping label. Two days later there was no tracking info other than my drop off information. I spoke with UPS customer service, eventually reaching a supervisor who checked with the local UPS hub. The hub said the package never made it to their facility. The supervisor told me the hub said all trucks are emptied by the end of the day and the items are scanned. Apparently my package was not sent. When I checked numerous times with the store they claimed the package was no longer there but could not explain what happened to this very important package! One person told me he would file a missing package claim to require UPS to carefully trace the package. When I called today to get the update on that search I was told that the person I spoke with yesterday has no authority to file a claim!! Moreover, no supervisor would be available until tomorrow. ****EDIT****** Owner of store reached out to me and explained that the drivers are required to cross check the packages with the daily manifest of packages received that is created daily by the store . Hence the package definitely left the store and is lost at the hub. As I have never had any issues with this sore before this event I am bumping the review to four stars.

Just got off the phone with the owner of this store John. I was making a complaint because only 1 out of my 2 items are being tracked. I dropped my items off 9/30 and noticed only 1 package being tracked by the merchant. I waited a few days to see if the other package would start tracking but it didnt and I noticed on the receipt only 1 package was printed out. The owner stated it's my responsibility to make sure his employees do their job correctly. So essentially when you go in as a customer you have to make sure his employees (who are getting paid to do this because that's their job) correctly scanned your items, personally check your packages over, even though we can't see what they are doing when they are scanning and entering into the computer. The woman scanned both of my QR codes and assured me they were complete. So now I'm missing items and will not be able to refund them because his employee made a mistake. I would not go here if you have to make sure employees are doing their job correctly. And the owner is unprofessional and rude. The other employee today at his location was rude as well and said he couldn't help me even before I could finish my story. I'm sure the owner will respond to my comment (as he said he would) and probably twist the story to make it look like he didn't do anything wrong.

The employees at this location specifically are incredibly rude and not helpful. I have bad 3 consecutive bad experiences and tried to chalk it up to maybe an off day. I’ll start going to the Rivertown location instead.
