  I feel the store took advantage of me. I brought a package to be shipped that I had received from UPS 1 hour before ,from a business , undamaged. I was told that the packaging was incorrect. I was charged $13 to put it in another carton. This is just a scam to make $13 unearned dollars.

  I recently visited this store to send some Christmas decorations to my mother in Georgia. The associate who assisted me was very short and one-worded in her responses. The cost for shipping the decorations, which was around $100, was surprisingly high. I inquired about the guarantee fee, and she provided a brief and direct answer, stating that it was the guaranteed delivery date. I expressed my preference for the lowest possible shipping cost, considering the amount we had already spent on the decorations. The associate then provided me with the price. When I asked if the price included the box, she simply replied with a blank space. I also inquired about any potential holiday-related rate increases, but she was unable to provide an answer. I then asked the associate if I could see her pack the decorations in the box and take a photo for my mother to review before shipping. However, she informed me that she was unable to do so because she had to pack the items herself and it was too far for me to observe. I requested that she pack the items and then show me so I can take a photo so that I could send it to my mother. She agreed to do so, but I couldn’t help but wonder if she was having a bad day. Overall, the experience was disappointing and marked my first negative encounter with UPS. To add to the inconvenience, when I was paying for the shipping, a prompt appeared asking me to donate to charity to round up the cost. Despite our family’s tradition of donating during the holiday season, especially when we have the means to ship holiday decorations, the associate declined my request, assuming that I was not charitable and would not contribute.
