- AAadam AFeb 2, 20261.0Someone claiming to be Sydney Beckman, a professional recruiter at Insight Global, contacted me via my personal phone number. After interviewing me for an hour and recording a lot of my information, they didn't even respond to my messages. I think they are acting like people trying to fill a daily quota. From now on, I will only speak with representatives of companies that are genuinely hiring.
- DBDesmond BraceyDec 9, 20231.0They will communicate with you to no end when you’re initially contacted. Once you go through the process the communication stops. I told them upfront to please be transparent as soon as you know I don’t get a position. After 2 weeks of daily calls, texts, and emails, someone must’ve nagged my recruiter enough to finally break the news. Then I was told “I’ll be in touch tomorrow to go over other opportunities.” 2 weeks later and I haven’t heard from them since. They will do their best to ghost you once they realize you aren’t chosen for an opportunity. If you do involve yourself with them I advise you to continue your search before you’re stuck playing catch-up waiting on them to acknowledge your existence after a role doesn’t pan out.
