I was in a real jam. My documents were too large to email. There was one gentleman that adjusted the size and split the documents into several files. Long story short, the documents were perfect and the email was sent. Thank you FEDEX for outstanding customer service! I will drive from the Northside everytime for your assistance and great service!

Incredibly terrible experience with a shameful store manager
On Wednesday, December 10, I submitted an order for pads to be created at this FedEx location. After sending in the PDFs, I called the store to ensure that they had received the email. I help doctors place orders for routine medical devices for their patients as my job - so I often get custom order pads made to help expedite paperwork on the physician’s end. I was unpleasantly greeted on the phone to Bryson, store manager, who started screaming, and saying that he absolutely would not fulfill this order, it’s against FedEx policy, that it’s wrong, that they are unable to do anything that relates to a doctor or doctors office, and that what we are doing is wrong. I overall felt as if I was being attacked and made out to be some evil person because I was trying to get custom pads created for my doctors offices. I calmly asked Bryson what he could possibly be referring to as I have never had an issue with this in the past. He said that it is against FedEx policy to do anything that relates to confidential patient information. I calmly explained to him that there is no confidential patient information on these forms, these forms are for doctors to fill out to submit an order for the medical device to my company. It is not related to a prescription, these are not prescription drug pads, I do not handle any kind of narcotics, this is purely an administrative tool for my doctor’s offices to use. These papers are not for pharmacy or drug use (and could not be used for such as it clearly states they are only for catheters). I also explained that my company has a national account with FedEx and has been utilizing their services for over 20 years. Bryson exclaimed that it doesn’t matter if they have a national account, it doesn’t mean that what they’re doing isn’t wrong, he will absolutely not fulfill the order for me, and that any branch fulfilling the order is breaking company policy. I got off the phone shaking - I had just been screamed at and attacked as if I was attempting to engage in illegal activity.
I called a coworker and explained the situation. He called the store, and Bryson didn’t hesitate to happily agree to printing custom pads for him. He said it would not be a problem at all. With that being said, I expected Bryson to give me a call back, apologizing for not fully understanding his company’s policies and for the misunderstanding on his end. I never received such phone call from Bryson, no apology at all for his behavior or accusations. Instead, he had another employee call the next day to say that he had “changed his mind“ and would now print the pads for me. I explained to the clerk, Sharonda, that although she sounded pleasant on the phone, I would be visiting a different location or competitor. I would’ve been happy with Bryson calling me back and apologizing for his behavior and for the misunderstanding on his end, but I never received such a call. I found it interesting how different his behavior was with a woman versus a man attempting to get the exact same documents printed.
I believe that this store manager needs to get himself acquainted with his own company policies, get training on how to better represent the company - especially in a customer service role, and needs to be reprimanded for his blatant discrimination towards a woman. How I was treated was unacceptable, but it was especially unacceptable to have not received an apology of any form after he realized his mistake. I absolutely do not recommend this FedEx location and will attempt to escalate my experience so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
