If you are disabled and need to go to this post office you should know that it is NOT very handicap accessible. While most of the employees there are helpful and usually have a pleasant attitude, there is one that is miserable. A package was to be delivered to my home on a Sunday but at 10:30 in the am, I received a notification that they tried to deliver it at 1 pm for the same day but no one was home. I was home the entire day, I usually am. On Monday I went to the office to pick up my boxes. The man helping me looked 4 times and was only able to find 2 of my 4 packages. The whole interaction was inconvenient but attitudes were pleasant. 5 min later I get a call they found it. I had already arrived home wasn’t able to leave my home Tuesday to retrieve the package due to my disability so I went on Weds. Of the 3 packages that I had USPS messages stating my packages were there and I needed to pick them up so they aren’t returned , I was told they were out for delivery. Today the employee that “helped” me was rude, condescending and hostile. I calmly told him the situation and begged him to check as I’d just been through this on Monday and being disabled presents extra challenges that go beyond inconvenience. He dismissed me and refused to help further, sending me on my way. I sat in my car for 10 minutes thinking about how I should handle this. I went back in and spoke to him very calmly with a soft voice and asked to him to please check again because I had been told on Monday that my package was in an unusual spot. He sarcastically agreed to look. Trying to demean me. You can imagine he was not happy when he found the missing one from Monday. He came out scolding me telling me in a loud voice, nearly yelling, that “I need to understand something. I’m not the only one waiting for packages and there are a lot of people who are is the same situation.” I said calmly pointed out that my package WAS there, that I wasn’t mad and my attitude was calm. Instead of him saying something like, “ma’am I was able to find one of your packages and I’m sorry for the confusion and delay”, he again raised his voice to me and told me if I’d waited I wouldn’t have had to go down there. That is the opposite of my tracking info and the phone call I had on Monday. I obviously didn’t want to engage with that arrogant and miserable man any longer. I thanked him and wished him a blessed day and left. Of course there are still two packages missing so I may have to interact with him again. I could only hope that his boss would speak to him about how he treats the customers that have to go pick up packages that they decide not to deliver. Completely unacceptable for anyone to be treated the way I was but to be abusive and apathetic to assisting someone disabled puts them in danger of a lawsuit for discrimination. If I experience the same treatment again, I WILL consult an attorney.

I Have NEVER met a friendly employee or anyone that seems like they are willing to help, or has a good attitude here. From the delivery people, to the front desk to the back when I had a large shipment to drop off, all of them have attitudes and are rude. Not sure what type of work atmosphere they are breeding here but I chose other locations like mascotte, I suggest you do the same if your needing service.
