  We had the pleasure of working with Tim today to get a very fragile museum quality piece packaged and shipped out. Tim was so helpful and accommodating with our needs. We were very nervous about the whole process but Tim put our minds at ease. He came up with several genius idea to keep our pieces protected during the shipping process. I still won’t sleep until it arrives at its final destination but at least I know Tim did everything in his power to keep my item protected during shipping.

  It’s not every day that a visit to a business makes me want to sit down and write a lengthy review. But after visiting FedEx and interacting with Ricky, I could not wait to share my experience. I entered the business right after opening. And although I was the only customer in the store, I realize there were many tasks that probably need to take place when the business is just opening. I am used to quick, brisk, and curt interactions lately when conducting business. However, this morning, that is not what I received! I was greeted with a warm welcoming smile and hearty hello! Although I’m sure he did not, Ricky made me feel like he had all the time in the world to assist me with my tasks and questions. To begin with I was curious about opening an account. I mentioned that someone had brought it up prior and it might make my monthly shipments easier. Ricky explained that it was something I could do on my own on my computer at home. I told him thank you, but I would just continue to do things the way I had done. Rather than moving on with the transaction, he realized that I was not comfortable opening the account on my own at home with my personal computer. He graciously assisted me there in the store. At no time did I feel like I was wasting his time. I mentioned that I typically send my package via ground, but this one was running late. He clearly explained all my options. I wanted the package to arrive quickly, so I decided on the more expensive option. He did not question my choice but graciously helped me and I was on my way. After reviewing the receipt, I realize this quick option would only arrive 24 hours earlier. Understanding that I’d made a silly financial decision. I re-entered the establishment. Rather than make it seem as if I was wasting his time or that I didn’t quite understand his very clear explanation of shipping options. (I gather he understood that I’m not in the business of shipping, and graciously offered to clear out that transaction and help me change it to ground.) Instead of acting exasperated or frustrated with this request, with a smile on his face, he stated that it won’t be a problem. Again, I wanted to make sure he was recognized for all he is doing! Life is not easy these days, and being in the business of customer service can be quite daunting at times! In a world where retail folks are frequently condescending and rushed, Ricky was a breath of fresh air!

  Tim went above and beyond- My brother passed away suddenly, and it fell to me to print a couple of items necessary for his memorial service in a very short time frame. Tim graciously took a few extra moments to help me and deliver the items I needed on time and looking great! He was professional, courteous, congenial and compassionate. I could not have been happier with my interactions with him and the final product he produced for me. This man is an absolute gem. I hope Fedex knows and appreciates his value.
