When I’ve stopped in previously, the people behind the counter were always so grateful I brought the box the return item arrived in. Today, the woman behind the counter was visibly annoyed that I brought the box along. She then said “when you get your code it says right underneath if you need a box or not.” Really? I brought the box along because it was previously met with gratitude. I didn’t bring it to give her a hard time or to have it implied that I’m too stupid to follow instructions. Working behind a service desk is the wrong occupation for her. Unless all of her customers are male. She sure had big smiles and friendly banter for them!
