  This place doesn’t deserve business. He screwed up our notary documents. Tried to over charge us and then THREATENED my wife when he called him out saying “You don’t have the size to be rude to me.” It’s been a while since I’ve had to deal with human trash but when the shoe fits. No one deserves to have to deal with that sloppy, rude, Jose Romero.

  EDITED TO ADDRESS COMMENTS FROM OWNER BELOW: absolutely nothing they said addresses any issue. Especially and including being threatened with respect to my size but also the pricing issue - the cashier had already rung up one price and the notary unilaterally rang up 23(!) notarizations for seven documents with a totally different price for the witnesses (which again, they did provide, just brought in people from the street!) than the one the cashier already rang up. This place is a scam, they are misogynistic and threatening. DO NOT GO. If I could provide negative stars I would. I entered with seven documents to be notarized with two witnesses. I was told they could do it. We start. In the middle we find out they don’t have a second witness and they need to pull someone from the street. Problem one. The notary, Jose Romero, ruined the most important one by accidentally writing my name where a witness name goes. Then tried to MANSPLAIN to me, an attorney, why it was “fine.” Last straw: the cashier had pulled up the fees - $10 per notary, $5 per signature. The notary comes at the end and redoes it, telling me it’s $10 per signature as well! When we could literally see on the screen a unit for signature was $5. Finally as we’re leaving he tells me “you don’t have the size to be rude.” Absolute hell at this place and we’re sending an email to UPS corporate as well since it’s a franchisee. DO NOT GO HERE.

  This is one of the best UPS stores in Fort Meyers. Great customer service and especially appreciate the great customer service! Vanessa goes beyond the call of duty to help with processing packages and assistance for older folks like me. Thank you for being our great community UPS!

  Every time I visit The UPS Store on Altamont Ave, I have a great experience. The staff is always so friendly, professional, and willing to help with anything I need whether it’s shipping, printing, or packaging. They always greet you and make sure everything is done quickly and correctly. The store is clean, organized, and you can tell they really care about their customers. It’s hard to find this level of service nowadays, and I really appreciate how consistent they are. Highly recommend this location to anyone in Fort Myers looking for reliable and friendly service!

  If I could give zero points I would. I just sent my husband there. I told him to ship(a key) ground and buy and mailing pouch. Ground is cheapest. He told me that the owner, Jose, asked if he wanted it there 3 day select. My husband unknowingly said yes. Thought it was cheaper, since that’s what the owner said. “Ship it the cheapest way.” It ended up being $40 and should’ve been less than $20. I used to own my own store, and know this owner knew exactly what he was doing. When my husband went back to change it, Jose(the owner) said I shouldn’t have called and treated him like I did. I was only firm with him and told him that I used to own my own UPS Store and he deliberately tried to rip off an unsuspecting person. How dare he verbally punish me like that to my husband. FYI…..this is the 3rd time we’ve had an issue like this at this particular store. They are crabby and try to rip you off! A regular person really doesn’t know the ins and outs of shipping. Unfortunately for him…..I do.
