So a family member of mine that sends my kids packages from another state, has started to pay for a signature to be required. So 7/25/2025 my family member received a notification in her email that we were getting her package on 7/25/2025.So I waited all day for the mail carrier to come up to the door. Nobody came,but on my family members end said they got a notification that it was delivered at 1:13pm in the afternoon,and that it was signed for. This package was for an 11 year old and a 5 month old. I go down to the mail boxes and the package was in a parcel box. The issue is the package was signed for. So the next day I report this to the Eustis post master,and come to find out, that mail carrier who delivered that package FORGED a signature that said my 11 year olds name! A child can’t sign for a package. He also doesn’t know how to do cursive. The other issue is my family member pays extra to have it signed for,and the mail carrier forged a child’s signature and didn’t bring the package to the door. So if somebody signs for a package, it wouldn’t have been left in a parcel box either.Which is was this mail carrier did. Said it was signed for,and put the package in a parcel box. The post master showed my husband and I the forged signature when we got to the post office. It said my 11 year olds name! I also showed the post master the notification my family member got saying it was signed for,and I showed the picture of the package in the parcel box,where it wasn’t supposed to be!
