Went in last week for a passport walk-in. I tried to call ahead to confirm the times but there was no answer. I walked in around 2p with my 15month old and we discovered I was missing a document I needed for her passport, since my spouse is deployed. I went to the library and got it printed out and came back by 250pm and was told “the cut off is 3pm and this application takes about 15 min, but I’ll take you anyway” Mind you, there’s no signage about arriving 15 minutes before the cut off, it just says walk ends 3pm. I did politely thank Adaryl for taking the time. We proceeded as all my documentation was in order, I even brought my own passport photos, and throughout the process he stopped no less than 15 times for other customers doing drop offs/pick-ups/inquiries. All the while I have a fussy toddler that I had no choice but to bring, she must be present for her passport application. The “15 minute” process was dragged out to 45 minutes, interrupted over a dozen times. I was reminded no less than 4 times that they cut off at 3pm for a reason. And I continued to be nothing but polite. I understand that other people needed to be served but had he spent more than 30seconds on me at a time, we would have been out of his hair much sooner. I don’t think anyone would have minded waiting for 3-5 min at a time while he finished on the various aspects of the applications. I witness him be condescending and visibly annoyed with multiple individuals that didn’t understand a mailing process, another that closed his PO Box due to multiple errors asking for assistance with filing out the closing form was told “it’s self explanatory “ It was a very uncomfortable experience to witness.

No one answers the phone, and the info on your website is so misleading. Horrible customer service

I was served quickly and efficiently today by a friendly postal worker. I was second in line and the line moved quickly. I got a package shipped for my nephews birthday, bought stamps, and got information about having a package shipped to me on base even though I am only here short term. 5 star service, clean store, quick processes. I read the other reviews posted here last week. Some of those reviews are old and others are just not a true picture of the service at this United States Post Office.

They advertise that they do Walk-ins for Passport applications M-F 10am-3pm. We tried calling to verify but for days no one picked up the phone. Finally my wife drove to the office to verify just to learn that they only do them when Brandy is there (who wasn't there that day). We were told she would be there today, but is done at 3 (application complete or not). We grabbed the kids after school and got there just before 2 only to learn that Brandy had left at 1pm. This is not how you run a customer service operation, but ask me if I am shocked!
