With the help of Google Maps, this post office was very easy to find. We are traveling cross country in our RV and I always appreciate meeting the friendly locals. The gentleman that waited on me here was over-the-top cheerful and friendly! The office has ample parking and is clean and well-maintained.

So today i went to drop off EDDM at the post office and ran into this man child having a bad day. It was a few thousand pieces with an odd number on each route which is almost guaranteed on any route. I get to the counter and he immediately gets a condescending tone with me about a few sections on the form that weren’t filled out. I explained to him that i needed a pen and had just printed the forms at UPS nextdoor. All it needed was a signiture and the total number of bundles of 100. So since naturally there was an odd number of residents on each individual route, i explained to him that i needed just a moment to figure that up. He immediately huffed and said “lets see, its x ammount of pieces so divide that by one hundred”. I paused and looked at him realizing that he had zero clue how to handle an EDDM transaction yet still roped himself into a confrontation with someone that does this a LOT. I tried being nice and flipped the paper around to circle and explan things to him but he took this as me challenging him and said he wasnt going to help me and that my mail would be held up. Literally said he’d make sure it was held for a week or so. Well that’s where he crossed the line. Thats a felony.
I’ve never been the kind of person to even let one single condescending comment slip. Somebody says something condescending to me, and we are talking about it right there on the spot regardless of how many people are around. So as I’m sttaightening this man child out, the post master comes out of her office (she heard it all) asking me not to talk rude to her employees. Totally disregarding the fact that this government employee just blatantly threatened to hold my mail over his ego trip.
So me, being 100% correct and having nothing to hide, called and reported this for what it was. A threat to commit a felony… Good thing is, they have a few cameras in there so there’s no denying what transpired.
Hopefully US Postal Service will coach these folks on being humble.

Just not getting mail anywhere near supposed delivery times. Like mail forwarded from VT to my Tallahassee address since mid Nov finally returned back to VT 1/6 saying undeliverable... signed up for tracking details on my priority deliveries and currently my delivery that was expected on 1/10 arrived in Tallahassee this am on the 12th at 902 am, went to pick up and said they needed to deliver. Tracking update said left Tallahassee at 11:13 for delivery and it is now after 5 and still no delivery...like where is my package now? Terrible unreliable and use Covid as excise for incompetence
