usps over the years has gone down hill with with a lot of what they do and mail delivery is on the top of the list for what they do NOT do well. but I will say this about the Deltona post office on Howland. if you have a problem with anything related to the mail you need to ask for a guy named Josh because this guy will correct the problem or track down what caused it. super nice guy.

I wanted to mail a 6x6x4 box, no address on it because of the size and figured they were going to make a label with my shipping address to place on it.Three workers at the counter and one busy. I walked to the counter and told the guy I wanted to mail the package . He just looked at it, grabbed a marker with a tip the size of a paint brush and placed it point down on the face of the box and told me to write the shipping address. I asked him if they would make a label,he said they don't make labels. I took the package to a counter and started writing then quickly realized there was no way I could fit the information. I walked out and decided to ship somewhere else.I've been here for over 40 years and this location has been going down hill over the last 5 years. I don't go in often but when I do there may be one person that shows signs of a personality occasionally . This location is never in a hurry to move a line. The only worker that seems to have a good work ethic is the weekday mail carrier who is pretty friendly and will actually walk to the house with large packages.

Pesimo servicio telefonico. Extremely incompetent service. Han remplazado los humanos por una estupida maquina que no resuelve nada, y para contactar un agente la espera es de 60 minutos…!

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with USPS. I mailed a package containing a cellphone and headphones. The package was never scanned, never delivered, and never showed any tracking activity. I never received any notification or update about what happened to my shipment. It has been over two months, and USPS has not taken responsibility for the missing package. When I reported it as lost, it took almost a month to receive a response, and even then, no resolution was provided. Given the lack of scanning and tracking from the beginning, this situation raises serious concerns about how my package was handled. This experience shows a lack of accountability and professionalism. I do not recommend this location.

Zero out of 10 do not recommend. So tired of my packages being ruined, bent, broken delivered to Port Orange instead of Deltona. Tired of the regular daily post person, forcing things into my mailbox that don’t actually fit and refusing to walk to the door with packages. There is no reason for packages with a residential address on them to show up at the Deltona post office and then be delivered to Port Orange where there isn’t even an address that matches the one in Deltona. This has been going on for years and no management ever returned my calls and do nothing ever changes.
