When I asked someone for help I was verbally assaulted by one of the employees who was doing nothing. 20 minutes later I’m still standing here . No wonder the Postal Service is going under!

I work in Davie and we have had issues with mail being lost, delayed, etc. We also have had problems with the letter carriers who are either completely ignorant of procedures, or are just too lazy to follow them. Twice we have had letters sent to us with return receipt requested. In one case, the carrier just left it in our mailbox, with the return receipt attached, without getting our signature for the sender. Yesterday, I opened my mailbox to find another certified letter; this one had the tabs from either side of the return receipt, but the receipt card was not attached. We never signed for it, so the carrier either took it back with no signature, they threw it away, or they scribbled an illegible signature to pass off as ours. Whatever they did, they didn't follow procedures, and the sender paid for a service they didn't receive. I go out of my way to visit another post office when I need to mail something, even though this one is just a mile from our office. Worst. Ever.
