I had a package that required a signature, and the tracking information falsely states that a delivery attempt was made. At no point did the driver knock, ring the doorbell, or attempt to make contact. Someone was home the entire time specifically to sign for this package. I also have a Ring camera system, and there is absolutely no footage of a FedEx driver approaching my door. There was clearly no attempt made. Marking a package as “delivery attempted” without actually attempting delivery is unacceptable and dishonest. Customers rearrange their schedules to be available for signature-required shipments, and this kind of careless service shows a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. This experience has caused unnecessary delays and frustration. FedEx needs to properly train and supervise their drivers to ensure that legitimate delivery attempts are being made instead of falsely scanning packages. Very poor service. I expect better from a major shipping company.
