- BBBrenna BotanyJul 16, 20255.0A package was marked as delivered today, but due to putting a package in my mailbox last night that had not been picked up, I knew this wasn't correct. I initially called the 800 number. I was called back very quickly by the local Chiefland post office (I hate that I didn't get the lady's name) and she checked the GPS info while on the phone. We were both flabbergasted, as it looked to have been absolutely delivered. She then took it upon herself to personally come onto my road and check the mailboxes for my misdelivered mail. AND SHE FOUND IT! I am SO impressed with her being so quick and on top of things, for finding my very important mail that was lost, and for handling it right that second. She was a delight and is truly some kind of mail goddess. Thank you so, so, so, so much for your hard work and dedication. I wish all Postal employees had your drive and concern, you absolute QUEEN.

They consistently deliver my packages to other houses.. most of the time I can hurry up and drive over to where it was delivered and grab it from their house, but there have been times when the homeowner refuses to give me my packages. I have went round and round with the post masters here, it’s always something different. They claim it’ll be handled, it never is. Same BS, just a different day. I have filed complaints with their corporate offices and nothing changes. Not sure how they still have employees, if I ever did my job incorrectly as many times as they did, I would be unemployed in a heartbeat. Perhaps I should put an application in to work with them. Your literal job is to deliver mail/packages.. how hard can it be when the address is displayed right there in front of your eyes on the package/envelope. I have never had issues with any other post office, quite like I have with this one. It’s actually insane.
