Box scheduled for delivery to 2nd floor office in building was returned to the post office because it was too big to fit in the outdoor mail slot on the first floor after the business was open. Delivery rescheduled for next day, and USPS.com showed this updated info. Box not delivered again as USPS.com updated tracking status to say package available for pickup at the post office. Three calls to USPS, with 3 contacts made to this post office to deliver package. None acknowledged, no emails or updated delivery status. It's my sincere hope that USPS becomes privatized when this is the type of service to be expected. No matter what post office you try to call, they never pick up the phone, or react to a case#. This fiasco exists because of a carrier being a lazy ass - short and sweet. I've notified the business in Cape Coral, and my business will never ship to this address again.

I’m not surprised by all of the negative comments regarding the customer service at this location. I’d also suggest they take down the sign encouraging people to leave them a review if they are going to continue to be less than helpful. I had placed a mail hold online and received confirmation that it was accepted and processed. When filling out the information it asked which post office I would like my mail to be held at and I selected this location. When I arrived to pick up my mail, they refused to help me because my ID has a fort Myers address and they were SURE they did not have my mail, even though they hadn’t even checked. I explained that I am in the process of moving, my new address is in Cape Coral and the change of address had already been submitted. My new ID should be coming any day now. Which is why I was stopping to get my mail. I asked the lady at the desk to at least please check to confirm that my mail was not there and told her that I selected this location as the holding post office. She refused and said I had to speak to a supervisor. Not sure why it was that serious but okay I’ll wait even longer. The supervisor came out and I was met with the same attitude that I received from the desk clerk. Refused to even check and told me what I was saying was wrong and impossible. She said I needed to go to the post office downtown or at page field. Well guess what? I went there and my mail IS NOT THERE. So now I am stuck between letting the mail be returned to sender due to not picking up, or attempting to go back to this location and deal with their horrible customer service skills. Meanwhile I received an informed delivery email stating that my new ID was delivered. It would have taken a total of 5 minutes for them to check and confirm if my mail was there. I had the confirmation number and all information needed ready to go the minute I stepped in line. Instead I wasted hours of my time driving to 3 different post offices and waiting in line for nothing.

Beautiful multi-million dollar facility, too bad retail counter is not open on Saturday, must use central office and wait in typical long line.
