This morning, November 20th at 8:00 AM, I had the worst customer service experience I have encountered in the last 25 years. I am a frequent customer at this FedEx location and have never seen the employee who was working today, named Polly. What I experienced from her was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.
I arrived at 8:00 AM, right when the store opened, and I was the first customer. A second customer came in right after, and I even opened the door for her. Since Polly approached me first, I was the one she should have helped first — although I did not mind waiting if necessary.
She asked me what I needed help with, and I explained that I needed to email some architectural floor plans. Her immediate response was,
“Oh no, I cannot do it.”
I asked why, since I have gotten this done at this exact location multiple times. She then said,
“Well, you’re going to have to wait because that takes a long time.”
The other customer looked at me and said, “Oh geez, she’s not a happy camper.”
Polly then decided to help the other customer first — which I didn’t mind — and she helped her ship a box. After that customer left, I was the only person in the entire store.
Polly walked toward the printer area nagging, complaining, and throwing tantrums, and I walked behind her. Then the phone rang, and she didn’t even say “hold on” or “give me one second.” She just walked away from me to answer the phone.
As she walked toward the phone, she said loudly:
“And this is what I fing mean. I couldn’t do it, I’m the only one.”*
She answered the call and could not help the person on the phone either. She kept repeating:
“I can’t help you. I can’t help you. I have an issue here, I cannot help you.”
Then she hung up on them.
She came back to me and said,
“You see what I mean? You’re gonna have to wait.”
Wait for what? There were no customers, and the phone wasn’t ringing anymore.
She then said,
“Or you can just do it yourself. I have a job to do, and it’s not to help you.”
I told her, “Who hired you? Because you are an extremely rude person, and I am recording you.”
She responded,
“I don’t care,”
and then kicked me out of the store, saying,
“I hate this job.”
I am very glad this store has cameras, and I hope they have audio, because everything I described happened exactly as written. I also recorded her behavior myself.
This experience was not just rude — it was hostile, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for any customer to endure, especially at a major company like FedEx.
I have already filed a formal complaint with FedEx corporate have a case number and will continue following up until this issue is addressed. I will also be filing with the Better Business Bureau to ensure there is an official record of this incident.
I strongly urge management to review the camera footage from this morning. This level of behavior is a serious risk to customers and to the company’s reputation.

The worst delivery company ever, especially the one in Bradenton. Customer service is terrible, also they are rude and never return calls when they promise to. The delivery drivers lie when they say "we tried to deliver." After waiting over 10 hours for a Spectrum order that required a signature, they say "customer absent" and use a picture of some random lawn because they didn't even try to deliver. They do nothing to help, always saying "No, we can't," "No, we can't do that," no, no, and no. This isn't the first time we've had problems with this awful company. I've never liked this company. They should shut down.
