This location is falsely advertising their passport service walk-ins. They are supposed to start walk-in passport service at 10 AM through 12 PM. I arrived at 9:40 and they told me that passport service is already full. it’s first come first serve smh.

This is the only usps to get fingerprints taken near me. You cannot call them to see if someone is there to take them. 50% of the time no ones there to take them and 50% of that time the machine is down. Absolutely hopeless. The kind of customer service that makes you lose all faith in humanity. Third time coming today and they said it’s working but no one will be there to help me for “maybe another 45 minutes.” I am going to start screaming.

The older white lady needs to learn to have some manners. If you don’t like your like job maybe you should not be working in customer service.

Absolutely Abysmal Service at the Boynton Beach USPS
The Boynton Beach USPS office is a masterclass in how not to run a customer service operation. The lines were absurdly long, completely unmanaged, and moved at a glacial pace—clearly more customers than the staff or systems could handle at any reasonable rate of speed. There was zero sense of urgency, coordination, or respect for people’s time.
The most infuriating part was my interaction with an employee named Albert. After waiting in line and finally reaching the register, instead of letting me take literally <10 seconds to write my address on a box, he insisted that I step out of line, go write it elsewhere, and then wait again to come back to the counter. This was after he told me I’d need to be charged for an extra piece of tape to secure my package, and by charge he meant upgrade to priority (not just simply pay whatever rate they could’ve possibly just charged me for tape if that what they had to do). This wasn’t about policy or efficiency—it was rigid, petty, and wildly unnecessary. In the time we spent debating my exiting of the line to write my return address on the box, I could’ve written it multiple times. Apparently, writing an address on a box isn’t allowed at the register, but instead it makes more sense to debate customers who have been waiting for 30+ min. Any organization with even a shred of common sense would empower its employees to make minor accommodations to keep the line moving. Apparently, that’s too much to ask here.
This kind of behavior perfectly sums up what’s broken about USPS service: outdated processes, poor judgment, and employees more focused on enforcing pointless rules than actually serving customers. The result is a miserable experience that wastes time and tests patience.
When the “final product” USPS offers is supposed to be reliable, accessible service, this location delivers the exact opposite. Long waits, inflexible staff, and a complete inability to manage customer flow make this office an embarrassment. If this is the standard, it’s no wonder people dread going to the post office.
Avoid this location if you can—unless you enjoy standing in line forever just to be treated like an inconvenience, or do yourself a real favor and give UPS the few extra pennies to just avoid USPS in general. That’s certainly what I’ll be doing.
