This might be the most “Boca” review ever and never in my life did I think I’d be writing a review for a post office but here we are.
I’ve been in downtown Boca for over 15 years and am lucky enough to have this USPS conveniently next to my businesses, so it’s always been my go-to and honestly, I never thought twice about it.
The team here is consistently friendly, helpful, and actually fun to interact with. I don’t know them personally, but they always make you feel welcomed and taken care of. The ladies are super sweet, and there’s one guy who is freaking hilarious. Idk his name but I’m literally cracking up in line every time. (*Disclaimer: this location does get pretty busy during peak hours but they’re quick and efficient and you get a comedy show while you wait)
What finally made me write this was visiting another USPS location in Boca today and I had a completely different experience. The systems were totally different and outdated and the people weren’t mean, but just not nearly as friendly and helpful as my usual one. It made me realize how spoiled I’ve been and how much I took the downtown usps for granted.
Anyways, if you’re looking to get stamps, mail mail, send packages or whatever, this usps is elite.

Website says passport walk ins are available from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. However, staff told us they only take the first four people who show up, and to even have a chance, you need to arrive before 7 a.m.—despite the office opening at 8:30. This is clearly their own local policy and not aligned with official USPS guidelines. It’s disappointing that they aren’t following the stated policy and that people have to line up hours early just to be served.

“Carlos the clerk was very unprofessional and Refused to Honor Posted Walk-In Hours”
I had a very frustrating experience at the passport services counter. The website clearly states that walk-ins are accepted from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. I arrived at 9:30 AM with my child to renew a passport, along with several other people who were waiting in line for the same reason.
However, the employee working at the counter, Carlos, refused to help anyone and told everyone in line that he would not process walk-ins “we were standing on line for more than 20 min” . This was confusing and upsetting since we had come during the time listed on the official website.
Many families had taken time off work or brought their children expecting to be helped during the posted walk-in hours. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. He also mentioned that if we are planning to walk-in next time make sure you’re here at 7am which is confusing because the post office don’t open until 8:30 !
I hope the office can clarify its walk-in policy and ensure that customers are treated respectfully

My package was lost at this P.o box. I confirmed with the store I ordered from & it was delivered to my PO box. I asked to speak with The manager Shawanda to investigate what happened with my package. She refused to talk to me according to the front desk agent. Horrible customer service! it's not recommended to pay for a PO box at this store
