Charging $2.50 just to print an Amazon return label is unreasonable. This UPS Store seems to charge excessive fees for very small services, as reflected in other reviews as well. Definitely disappointing.

I purchased two iPhones 17 Pro Max 512 GB and 17 Pro Max 256 GB from Apple USA (USD $2,779,89) on October 29th to be delivered by UPS in Aventura, Florida. UPS marked the package as “delivered” but no one received it, and no signature was provided even though one was required. Apple and UPS both closed my case without refund or resolution. I paid, I have the invoice, but I never got the phones. This is unacceptable service and a complete failure of responsibility from both Apple and UPS. At this point I just demand my money back!!!! You are y just playing with me and my money…you both UPS and APPLE are playing with my money US$2,779,89!!!!

I witnessed a very concerning situation at a UPS Store. A customer ahead of me was returning four very thin Amazon boxes — they arrived that way from Amazon, so he simply brought them back in the same condition. The clerk at the counter charged him $10 just to tape two boxes together ($5 per pair), which I found extremely excessive. The customer paid, but he left visibly disappointed and frustrated — understandably so.
When it was my turn, I was told I needed a box for my return. I spoke up and pointed out that charging $10 just to tape two thin boxes seemed unreasonable based on what I had just seen. I also made it clear that my item originally came in a plastic bag, and I was willing to pay for appropriate packaging for my situation.
Instead of simply selling me a bag or explaining policy, the manager came over and insisted I “speak only to her.” I explained I wasn’t arguing — I was just addressing what I witnessed. Despite being willing to pay, the manager then refused to sell me any packaging, stating she didn’t want me to “make a complaint,” and shockingly, she proceeded to call the police.
All of this over a simple Amazon return and a customer expressing concern about unreasonable fees.
This situation shows how a little authority can be misused, leading to unnecessary tension and poor treatment of customers. Businesses like UPS should not be taking advantage of customers with overpriced services, and staff should certainly not escalate peaceful customer concerns by calling law enforcement.
No one should feel threatened or punished for respectfully pointing out an unfair practice.
