The service is terrible and very rude. Judging by the comments over time it looks like management doesn't care. Used the self service which was the only way I got my label done. Will not use or recommend this location

Riddle me this, I did a change of address from my old address to the new address. Because my father and I share the same name the post office that delivers our mail has taken it upon themselves to forward mail from a completely different address to our new address and my mail from the actual requested address to my fathers address. By this logic if someone who lived across town had the same name I guess they would forward that mail as well. To which address it would be forwarded to well that's apparently up to whoever is sorting the mail. Why would mail be forwarded from an address that was not requested? Ultimately the mail from my old address should be forwarded to my new address based off the address not the name. If no mail was requested to be changed from the address they are changing it from why would someone choose to do. Its a real doozy. My wife was trying to get this sorted at our local post office all though she filled the forms correctly to begin with. She was given a card to fill out after explaining the situation and the clerk literally waited until she completed the form to ask for an ID. She kept her last name and he told her she could not do. HMMM should he have not told her that to begin with? Bottom line they are forwarding mail from an unrequested address based off of a name. And forwarding my mail to my fathers house. I am not sure what is so complicated about forwarding mail from one address to another. They have made this very complicated. Not to mention the clerk Anthony who served my wife was completely rude and had no customer service skills to speak of. The void of literal human compassion. When she walked in the building it was empty of customers and he saw her coming and walked in the back. What will filling out a card do to fix this when it was correctly requested to begin with? Anyone doing a change of address I hope this does not happen to you. This has turned into a problem and with our schedules problems become headaches. I guess my mistake was completing this task online since we live in 2026 I didn't think twice about it guess that was my first mistake. I guess my advice don't do change of address online. Even though the mistake is not computer error but human error. Save yourself time and do in person. Just hopefully you don't get Anthony. I hope no one ever has to deal with him. He's in the wrong line of work or hates his job.

I am terminally ill and get time-sensitive medication and material in the mail. My daughter lost our key so I wrote a note and signed it to get our mail out of the box. The lady balled it up in front of my daughter and told her no. Rude, ridiculous and they don’t answer phones.

Legitimately do not understand how the guy at the counter still has a job when everyone in the comments has been treated like garbage. He was condescending, rude, and refused to help me. I had to use self service while he sat on his butt and playing on his cell phone immediately after refusing to mail my package.
