I had to move from the US. I went with my husband to let them know we would not be able to go back and get our mail, so they made us fill out a sheet to hold our mail at this location. We asked if we could have someone else pick up the mail for us. The lady brought out a manager and he assured us that if we wrote down the names of the people authorized to pick up, they would only need to show their ID.
My family just went today, they had them wait about half an hour, only for a manager to come out and say that they would not give them our mail, even though they had a huge pack of our correspondence.
They lack transparency and decent procedures. We know for a fact that we have important mail, even IRS mail being held for us. If we are unable to recover this mail, and if these IRS letters are trying to charge something, it is USPS’s responsibility due to not being able to follow through with what we requested via their official sheets.
They probably threw our sheet in the garbage.

The tellers/ clerks must limit their friendly banter and personal conversations with customers...especially when the lines are especially long.

I am very disappointed and upset at this location. The mail carrier did not deliver my package to the address that’s on it. I get mail here at this place and packages from usps, ups and fedex. I paid $300 for my package & I was waiting on it for a very long time. It’s an IMPORTANT PART for my motorcycle & the mail carrier sent my package way to Illinois . And I’m way here in Florida. No way did not bother to reach for delivery note or try to send it back to me. I talked to the sender and he did put the correct address. This is a mistake on your carrier and I’m still waiting for this to be resolved & receive my package!

I use the large drop box at this post office to send packages several days a week, and up until recently it worked fine. Now about half of my packages are not being scanned at all. When we asked about it, we were told that they “do not scan drop box packages.” That is simply not true, and they insisted on it anyway. Why would this branch refuse to use the tracking system that USPS provides? Tracking is included on the labels for a reason. Every other branch we’ve used scans them without any issue.
On top of that, we have a PO box here and they keep putting someone else’s mail in it. We have told them repeatedly over the past six months. There is even a note inside the box clearly saying to only place our mail, yet the problem keeps happening. Twice we have stood in line to hand the misplaced mail back, only for it to show up in our PO box again the next day.
It really feels like the employees here simply do not care about accuracy or the systems USPS already has in place for tracking. We’ve started using a much smaller branch in Ocoee and they scan everything without any trouble. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location.
