    Was at staples for a drop off and this crazy woman named Esterling, she was entitled and rude and kept trying to talk to me and the other customers trying to provoke the guy working print counter. Both employees were very patient, but they shouldnt have to deal with that. She should have been refused service. And allowing customers like that makes me not want to return. Almost everytime I come here someone is in the amazon return line acting like an impatient jerk or an attention seeking fool. Maybe you need secuirty at that counter? Especially since they stopped giving receipts, the exchanges ive seen have been shameful, with the employees visibly trying to maintain patience and professionalism.

    I try not to post negative reviews because all experiences aren't the worst. Some places just have bad days however my Amazon return experience wasn't the best. I returned an Amazon item in February that appears to have not been returned to Amazon. Since the store doesn't provide receipts, it has taken me almost a month to get refunded for an item that is showing as not being returned. The person at the desk seemed kind enough and though they don't require the items to be boxed, I kept it in a bag since it was not easy to carry and to make it easy for an associate to handle. It appears that the person scanned my code but apparently it didn't go through. My suggestion is that they start giving receipts as this has been a headache and $110 is not a little bit of money in this economy. I will not return items here due to the headache it caused.

    I love my local Staples! They are always helpful and have what I need at reasonable prices. The variety of items is also nice. They have the staple needs as well as some more upscale options if you want to beautify your office area. I love going here and I hope they are around for a long time to come!! Thank you so much for all you do

    I’m new to the state of Delaware and I had some Amazon packages to mail back so this was the closest one. I entered the store with three medium boxes. They weren’t heavy, but they were just cumbersome. I put them on the counter. And a man just said I will be with you in a minute It was fine. It was early. I was the first one there when he came over. I said OK so I have three boxes and or for staples return for Amazon. And the other one is for UPS. He condescendingly responded well this is Staples. UPS is a different store. I said I realize that but the sign at the top of the building on Staples says UPS mail deliveries, etc. I said so you saying I can’t turn in the third box here he says well like I said we’re not UPS we can’t do anything for UPS and I said well why is UPS on the building? Is it next door? He still kept talking to me like I didn’t know the difference between Staples and UPS so I said could you please just read the barcode please and when he did it it accepted it I said we’ll see that’s that’s correct then - UPS is on the building and Staples is here so if I hadn’t asked you to do it, it would have driven around for a UPS store. And because I’m so keen on Customer Service I had one last question for him. I asked am I disturbing you or bothering you today because I haven’t really said anything rude to you but you’ve been pretty much rude and he said well it’s just that I’ve got two people out and somebody called out I said, but that’s not my problem. I’m a new customer and new to the state and to this Staples. He shrugged it off, and I said first impressions are lasting as I exited the store. So I wanted to write this review because the PEN has always been higher than the SWORD!
