Das Einzelunternehmen Yellowcom wurde am 23. Januar 1998 von Dennis Preußer gegründet und wird seitdem erfolgreich von ihm geführt. Im September 1998 eröffnete Dennis Preußer die erste Filiale in Roßwein, bevor im Mai 1999 der Standort in Oschatz dazukam. Die Filiale am Oschatzer Neumarkt entwickelte sich zum Hauptsitz des Unternehmens, während im März 2000 auch die erste Döbelner Filiale eröffnet wurde.
