I have been to a lot of post offices in my day but this crew at Selbyville are 2nd to none. They are led by a manager with grace and calm and supported by diligent and precise management of my many parcels and mail drops. Great group. Great people.

As a wheelchair user who is disabled, I find it absolutely extraordinary that ADA standards have been being broken for the entirety of the time that this postal office has been open to the public from what I know. I've asked before if there is a route that I can get to to get into the building from another side, but apparently there is not. Just a very long and high line of steps with a unstable railing to hold on to, and absolutely no way for me to get into the building unless I quite literally drag my body up the stairs on my bottom, or as an ambulatory user which means on days where my health is slightly not as horrific, I can take a small amount of steps. But when I have to use double forearm crutches to try to get up those stairs, and then open an extremely heavy door, another door, the same two doors to leave, the same stairs that I have to go down that leave me at risk for falling and seriously injuring myself, especially because I have a genetic disorder that would cause me to most likely have more severe injuries than the average jane. There's no chair for me to even sit in when I go into that office so I can rest, and of course with it being stairs it's not like I can use my Rollator to get inside because once again it has wheels to help support me. This is the one thing that makes me stay away from this post office and makes it so incredibly difficult to support a place that doesn't support all of their customers. Because I'd really love to be able to start a PO Box, continue mailing my packages to the most convenient and closest spot near me, and be in the town of Selbyville where I can run other errands. I urge for change.
