- SASharol AddisonMar 24, 20261.0The Old New Castle Post Office is opening mail and resealing it back. I mailed my state taxes for Delaware two weeks ago with my return address clearly on the front. I received that mail back today, cut open from the bottom of the envelope, and a stamped seal on the front stating Return for Postage. I thought when mailing these types of mail and it being in state that it didn't require Postage. But the biggest issue is why ws it cut open from the bottom, which whoever did this can steal all of my personal information. I have complained to various areas of postal with my complaint, Quigley Blvd facility, Old New Castle Post Office, Post Office General, the Attorney Generals Office for Delaware and no one is taking this serious. I've talked to others in my development and they're having the same issues. I'm trying my best not to blow this issue out of the water with a mega lawsuit, but it's getting worse and whomever is doing this is getting bolder. I've witnessed mail carrier sitting in strip malls going through mail, which is odd in itself. I live in the Applebly Estates in New Castle Delaware. The Supervisor at the Quigley facility and the white guy who man's the Old New Castle facility state I would have to make a formal complaint, which I've done numerous and yet again today. I received 6 envelopes certified two years ago, went to the Old New Castle facility 500 Delaware Ave. The white gentleman went to retrieve my mail brought it out and four of those envelopes were open. I asked him why my mail was open he stated it's not open I said are you blind and turned around and asked two other's standing in line are these envelopes open, they replied yes. So I'm asking all those who's mail has been opened and resealed to respond enough is enough, I'm not accepting this as normal behavior anymore!

I cannot count the number of times peoples packages have been delivered to our building that belong to other people in this area. I have picked them up and delivered them to where they belong. It's is NOT okay for people expecting their packages to be left wondering what happened. Additionally whoever sent them is losing $$. This is the same for Fedex and Amazon. Train your employees better and or treat them better.
