I have been reading all these bad reviews about the Middletown Post Office. I have used this Post Office many times and the employees have always been very friendly and helpful. I had to go there today as I lost my key to my mail box. I was greeted with a smile and was handed all the paper work I needed in a professional way. The line was long and there were only two ( 2 ) employees behind the counter. I was surprised how quick the line moved. I noticed this generation has no patience and is always in a rush. Try and remember to be kind and think that their job is not as easy as it looks, especially when they are short staffed. I suggest spending a day with one of the employees and actually see what all is involved. You may have a different opinion.

Denise is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Hard to understand how someone in a customer facing role would have such poor communication skills & be allowed to continue in their role. This place needs an overhaul - this is the third rude and unprofessional interaction I’ve encountered.

Have had multiple issues regarding packages being delivered. Was told it’d be taken higher up which never happened. Never heard anything back regarding the investigation they were having regarding the multiple missing or wrongfully delivered packages that I’ve encountered. Very poor customer service. I’ve experienced being yelled and cursed at by an employee due to me simply asking questions regarding my missing mail. Very poor service. Currently dealing with a situation with a missing package but it’s a Sunday so I’m waiting till Monday to hopefully resolve this specific issue.

This post office is worse than terrible. In less than 6 months, I’ve had two packages gone missing that were never found. One of which was a prescription. They constantly mark items as delivered that haven’t been delivered, I receive mail intended for other homes, and the response of this office is poor. I’ve never experienced such a high level of incompetence as this office!
