- JMJerri Lovlea Meekins2 days ago1.0If I could give zero stars, I would. Try calling and all you’ll get is a busy signal. Walk in, the line is all the way out the door. Call the 1-800 number, you’ll be on hold for 20+ minutes only for them to tell you that they are a call center and really can’t help with local questions. It’s dumb. Before I even waited on hold, it took forever for me to get to a person because the automated system is set up in a way that they really don’t want to transfer you to a live person. It’s quite sad actually.

However the location is problematic, as it is located directly next to train tracks for freight trains that cause traffic to back up in a already moderately congested area of Dover. Location is directly next to Justice of the peace court house and Dover Police station.

They explain and provide a wide range of services and help when I have a problem such as a package that is caught in a loop and not getting delivered. The lines can be long due to understaffing and the offices central Dover location. The delays in getting mail delivered, the reduction in services provided (no overnight mail any more), the higher prices, the shortage in staff—I lay squarely at the feet of the federal government and the USPS Postmaster DeJoy. They want to get rid of USPS and privatize—and working toward that goal by undercutting this institution which is written into the US constitution and labeling it inefficient as they try to dismantle it.
