- TRTrue ReviewsFeb 26, 20261.0After watching a video filmed at this location by Long Island Audit, I was honestly disappointed by how the situation was handled by staff and responding officers. The individual was calmly filming in the lobby, referencing Poster 7 regulations that allow photography in public areas of post offices. Instead of handling the situation professionally, staff immediately escalated it, claimed filming wasn’t allowed, and called multiple police officers. The interaction became unnecessarily confrontational over what appears to be a constitutionally protected activity. What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. Rather than clearly explaining policies or calmly addressing concerns, there were raised voices, sarcasm, and what seemed like intimidation. Eventually, the individual was told he would be arrested for trespassing if he returned that day — despite attempting to conduct postal business. Whether someone agrees with “First Amendment audits” or not, public servants should remain professional, informed about their own posted regulations, and respectful. Calling five officers over a man with a camera in a public lobby seems like an excessive use of taxpayer resources. I hope management reviews this incident and provides additional training on customer service, de-escalation, and understanding federal guidelines regarding photography in public spaces. Public buildings should reflect transparency and professionalism — unfortunately, this interaction did not.

Using key details to know they were about my order and when one is confronted (the blonde one everyone complains about) they become totally unprofessional and act like you are hearing things, instead of owning what was said. Get a job you love ma’am! And have the day you deserve.
