Yesterday, I arrived at approximately 5:05 PM and found it already closed, which, while slightly inconvenient, I understand may happen occasionally. However, today I made a point to arrive earlier, at around 4:30 PM, only to find that I was unable to enter. There was a sign indicating that the office was closed for lunch from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This situation is quite frustrating, as it effectively prevents customers from accessing services during the final hour of operation, despite the official closing time being listed as 5:00 PM. For those of us who plan our schedules around these posted hours, this creates unnecessary inconvenience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Put up signs that they were closed for lunch between 4-5pm. As the employed unlocked the door to let out last customer, I asked if she could help the people in line and I was met with a blank stare and a relocked door. Oddest experience I’ve ever had at a post office.

For instance, I came today at 4:10 to find a sign that said “out for Lunch 4–5 PM” I came back at 4:55, saw a light turn on and the lady look at me at five 158, then shut off the lights and shut down the post office outrage
