Service is usually fine, but the older male worker overcharged me 10 times for an envelope, is too chatty when the line is already long, and was really rude when I just asked for the priority mail tape to seal my box when in line while I was waiting. The older female worker is nice and warm, but was the only one processing all the passport appointments. Appreciate the longer hours, esp. on Saturdays, that this office provides but Clearly they need more help - please provide more staffing to this popular post office location so the workers aren’t “treated like a slave when Christmas is over” #RegisReviews

Staff incredibly rude, i arrived at 4:50pm and the lady purposely shut down her doors and wouldn’t let me in, even though they hadn’t closed yet.

My experience at the USPS near the Postal Museum in Washington DC was extremely disappointing and upsetting. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. I simply wanted to ask about a new stamp issue and check if they had any special stamps available, but instead, I was met with hostility. One staff member scolded me and questioned why I was there, as if I didn’t have the right to ask a simple question. It felt targeted and discriminatory, especially towards Asian customers like myself. I couldn’t believe how dismissive and disrespectful they were. Instead of helping, they refused to provide service, leaving me frustrated and disappointed in what should be a customer service role. It was shocking to see such blatant unprofessionalism, and I truly felt mistreated and shamed for no reason. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, and USPS should hold their staff accountable for such behavior. If they want to serve the public properly, they need better training and accountability. I hope USPS addresses this problem because no customer deserves to be treated this way, regardless of their race or background. Honestly, I felt humiliated and will think twice before ever visiting this branch again.
