Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Especially the older gentleman. I had a mailing label and didn’t know how to use the adhesive pouch for priority mail envelopes. The older man refused to help me put it on an envelope and in a rude tone gave poor directions as if it was intuitive. After asking a clarifying question he got annoyed and said “how old are you? I won’t help you put it on.” In a sarcastic way. I ended up putting it on wrong (because he refused to help) and messed up my label. I ended up leaving and had to go back home to reprint my label. Biggest waste of time. Do not go here unless you need to drop something off.

Unbelievably poor customer service. And if you’re looking for the right parcel drop bin, it’s hidden in the corner; the big, clearly marked one is permanently out of service.

I went to the post office at 14th and T St NW and it was closed at 10:40 AM... I had to catch a train in Union Station at 12:05 and I didn't had time to take the package back home. I googled and found out there was a post office close to Union Station near the Postal Museum. I got there and the clerk told me the zip code of my package was wrong. I googled again and he was right. Damn dyslexia! I fixed it right away with a pen he gave me and he placed tape on top of it to make sure it was clear that was the right zip code
I wish I knew his name! Wonderful place and great service!

Overall, I typically have great experiences with the post office. I go regularly to mail packages across multiple locations. The staff are nice and professional. Folks talk down about the staff and it's a bit harsh especially when they have to deal with alot of entitled, passively aggressive and rude patrons. The accountability should be on all sides. They are humans too. If your entitlement makes you rude and obnoxious, your experience may not be a good as you would like. Try looking in the mirror and start with yourself. Thank you Postal Staff for all you do.

No one is ever friendly at this location. I am always scared to ask them for any help. They always are frowning and look like they hate to be there!! I only go there when ABSOLUTELY necessary. I have other Post Office's that offer 5 ⭐️ customer service. It's even dark and gloomy in there like you have entered HELL😈
