My concern began after repeated interactions with an employee named Scotty. Based on my observations and personal experiences, it appears that he treats Caucasian customers differently than African-American customers. Specifically, when providing me with my receipt, he consistently places it on the counter rather than handing it directly to me. In contrast, I have observed him hand receipts directly to Caucasian customers and engage with them in a noticeably more courteous and respectful manner. These repeated interactions have been frustrating and uncomfortable, and they have made me feel that my race is a factor in how I am being treated. I believe this behavior reflects a lack of equitable customer service, and I feel it is important to bring this matter to attention.”
