- AFAltaa FultonJul 16, 20255.0Stefan, the postmaster at the Willimantic post office, is exceptional. I had a problem with a package that he was able to resolve very quickly. He was professisonal and curteous. Jesse, the mail carrier for our neighborhood is remarkable! He is also extremely professional and courteous. Jesse consistently goes above and beyond to take care of the people on his route. We are lucky to have him as our postal carrier. Rose KonungrinnFeb 18, 20211.0Willimantic Post Office is the WORST Post Office I have ever dealt with. 10 years here so far & they've always been too lazy to do their jobs & bring packages to front doors. When our complex still had the old mail slots, they FORCED packages into them & DESTROYED multiple items I ordered rather than come to my DOOR, I had to have companies send replacements to my office in another town. I got a PO Box in another town & usually just don't use my home address anymore. I just ordered an Amazon package to my home because it will be too large & heavy for me, & they used USPS. Willimantic Post Office didn't deliver & sent notice that "mailbox was full/item was oversized". OF COURSE IT'S OVERSIZED, IT'S VERY LARGE, HEAVY, AND SUPPOSED TO BE BROUGHT TO MY DOOR. I hate this Post Office so much.
