- JAJanet AveryDec 9, 20251.0I went to the Storrs post office this morning (December 9) to buy stamps to mail my holiday cards. The clerks had no holiday stamps and argued with each other about who could open the safe to get some. After several minutes the male clerk got stamps and then, after all that, the female clerk said there was a process and they couldn’t sell them to me until later! Instead I went to the Mansfield Center post office and bought my stamps from a very nice and efficient clerk, with no problems. I think I’ll stick with that post office instead!
