Awful place, I could have robbed the place and no one would know. I went in to try to get a package delivered and there was nobody in the front office for 30 minutes and then I left! There was a Marshall there for 20 mins before me waiting to serve a letter to someone but no one came to help. Maybe the guy that the Marshall was trying to serve worked at the front desk of this particular post office and was hiding in the back it something. I saw a guy walking in the back and asked if he could help me and he was like it's not my dept. & speak to a manager. I was like there's nobody here to even soeak to for the last 30 minute Jeeze! If I could give 0 stars then I would because there was no service at all! No wonder the US Post office is going out of business! This locating is awful!

Dear USPS Team,
I would like to share a troubling experience I had during my recent visit (1/13/2026 around 1.45pm-2pm) to the USPS office on West Ave in Stamford. I observed a young employee undergoing training, seemingly guided by two staff members, one of whom was a man named Frankie.
What I witnessed was distressing. Frankie was humiliating the new employee in a manner that was not only inappropriate but also detrimental to the young man's confidence. At one point, the trainee looked at me, his face red with embarrassment, and apologized for his performance. I tried to reassure him, telling him he was doing well and encouraging him to take his time. Unfortunately, Frankie did not provide constructive guidance; instead, he only increased the young man's nervousness.
It's disheartening to witness someone in a position of authority treat a new employee in such a belittling way. I can't help but wonder if this behavior makes Frankie feel good about himself, as all it accomplished was to demoralize the trainee instead of fostering a supportive learning environment.
I hope that sharing this feedback will help bring about positive change in the training process at your organization, as everyone deserves to work in a respectful and encouraging atmosphere.
Sincerely,
BJ
