- PLPamela LallApr 2, 20241.0Last week I visited your location and your representative told me that he would be able to just look over my application for a new passport. He explained that he has worked there for 10 years and he was very specific hours including his lunch break hour. He said you can come when he is not on lunch. He never told me to make an appointment. He was rather polite, I thought and very detailed. Fast-forward today, I went to see him, waited in line and he was utterly rude. He spoke very slowly and loudly to me as if I was deaf or illiterate. I was quiet and composed. I explained to him what he told me before and he said no you’re supposed to make an appointment and if you’re arguing with me, which I was not, I am not serving you. United States postal Service should be represented by Educated Inclusiveness people that are not discriminating and rude. He had an audience of all white patrons and I felt he thought he could dummy down his speech showing “power”, Because in his words, he has worked there for 10 years. I will never go to this Postal Service office again. I will go to Next town , West Hartford or Farmington. The service is phenomenal or even Enfield or Manchester, but Not Simsbury.
