- TFTheresa FitzpatrickJun 13, 20221.0EDIT: After having to go down to the post office to collect my mail and to find out WHY it wasn't delivered, I am extremely disappointed. I spoke with Louise, the Supervisor. Not only was she extremely rude, but she also refused to listen to anything I had to say and spoke to me as if I was garbage. And I was being NICE. Whoever is delivering mail on Walnut St. while our regular gentleman is out, is lazy. Pure and simple. I have TWO ways to reach my mailbox. Stairs from the street or my driveway. Considering the stairs are pretty steep, I would think the driveway would be easier. I was told they pick ONE route to deliver mail and that's it. So IF by chance there IS something wrong with my stairs, there is another perfectly good way to reach my mailbox and it's even EASIER! Based on other reviews being left, there should certainly be an investigation into the Putnam Post Office!! I WILL be contacting BOTH the Post Master AND Consumer Affairs along with the BBB. Louise should be FIRED. I HAVE to give one star, otherwise, you would get NONE! SHAME on you Louise! Damaged packages, packages, and mail not being delivered for weeks at a time. What the hell is going on down there??
