- KTK & T TurnerMar 22, 20241.0I called three times in the last 2 weeks, requesting the blue collections box on the corner of Rt 163 and Rt 82 in Montville, CT be emptied. I had placed some mail in the collections box and didn't realize it was completely full until I dropped the mail in the box. As of today this box is still full. Very frustrating, during my last conversation with the clerk at the Oakdale, CT Post Office, he mentioned he would call the Uncasville, CT post office. I tried to call them twice, the first time, I asked to speak to the Postmaster, the clerk who answered the phone told me the postmaster was unavailable and took a message, the postmaster never returned my call. The second time I called the phone just rang and rang no one ever picked up the phone. Again very frustrating....
- CMCarl MalinowskyApr 8, 20195.0Nice little Post Office! Have been to dozens of them and this one is certainly near the top end. Both of the clerks that work there regularly are friendly and helpful. The hours are also fairly good considering the one down the road is only open for the afternoon.
- DMD P (Mimi)Dec 18, 20171.0You have to leave early from work or go in late. Their hours are not in line with a working community. They are shut down during your lunch hour too. Would love to see them close and go to a post office with better service hours. Also, no scotch tape if you have a package bring your own.
