- HNHenry NeeserJul 29, 20231.0Apparently my postal carrier decided on his own that the address on my delivery was not enough to deliver my package. He stated that "I was not a listed recipient of male at this address". I spoke to the Post Master and he told me that the carrier should have delivered it regardless who's name is on it if the address is correct, then said "There is no such thing as a list of intended recipients for addresses". The USPS is struggling to stay afloat operating in the red year after year. I now understand first hand why, just look at one inept letter carrier decide to do. To remedy this I had to go back to my business card order company and have them insert a (c/o) my girlfriends name and go buy some vinyl letters to put my name on the door of the mail box. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement with the attitudes of letter carriers if they can arbitrarily decide to inconvenience the recipient. Just to further this we have a dog named Jasper and he gets mail and I know he isn't a listed recipient at this address, and this incident with my packages getting sent back is the 3rd time this has happened. I cancelled these orders and ordered from Amazon because they deliver with perfection. The USPS has lost me for a customer at all levels. I will never use them to send anything to anybody, I will go out of my way to send through UPS or FEDEX.
