The other day, I visited the post office to mail a package. One of the employees was handing me items without asking if I wanted to purchase them. She never mentioned that they would cost money. I kept quiet about it until it was time to give an on-screen rating. I decided to give a negative rating, and she became upset, claiming that she had treated me fairly. I explained that it was my personal opinion and that she had simply added items without informing me of the cost. You can’t have it both ways. You can’t ask for feedback and then get upset or defensive when you receive it. A better approach would have been to ask how we could improve during my next visit. I am usually very polite, and if someone is not respectful, I simply act the same. Next time, I will ask whether I am allowed to give my honest opinion or do it from home. I will change this review/delete it when that person changes.

NIANTIC - CONNECTICUT. The reason why I am leaving this review is due to mail going MIA. I receive emails through informed delivery. The items gone missing after receiving pictures are many. They include a renewal license for my job, a check from a family member, a tax bill, clothing among other on line orders. If this was an isolated incident, it would not be an issue. I purchased my home a little over a year ago and this is a CHRONIC problem. I get dozens of mail pieces that DO NOT belong to me as well. At least once per week at this point, yet it was on a daily when I first moved here. Each time I receive mail or a package that does not belong to me I send it back writing “wrong address” on the mail that has been incorrectly delivered. You have to fill out a form to report missing mail, which takes time, and not even ONCE was the mail found. Reaching out to speak with a person is nearly impossible as well. With the funding given to the post office each year we deserve better service as tax paying citizens. The post office also lost almost 10 billion dollars last year. Where is that money? There seems to be a lot of losing going on. Terrible!! You have a serious problem. They need to retrain or fire whoever is delivering the mail. Very poor service and I am tired of my mail and packages going MIA.
