I stopped by and drop off an Amazon return. I didn’t have a shipping envelope so I bought one. The price said $0.59. But when I was checking out, I realized the price was actually $1. So I asked why it wasn’t the price that listed? I was replied by the staff who is impatient that it was the old price. They refused to match the price. It wasn’t about the $0.5 difference but the customer service and courage to admit the mistake made.

The employees here are verbally, aggressive, rude, and condescending. If I wanted to be rudely spoken to, I’d just go to any airport and speak to TSA workers…at least it’d be free. If they charged for rudeness like they charge for tape, they would make a fortune.

I called the store from Chicago, looking for them to pick up and ship an item I purchased from a local auction house. Manjit, the gentleman in charge of shipping auction items, was just wonderful! He was polite, thoughtful, thorough and the cost was 1/2 of what it would have cost if I had the auction house ship me my item!! Thank you - you made this so pleasant!

I stopped at this UPS Store to drop off a small Amazon return — the box wasn’t even 4 inches long. The woman behind the counter told me I’d need to tape it myself next time, which I appreciated hearing. But then she insisted I had to buy an entire roll of tape for $4.99 because “they don’t have any tape.” Clearly, they did — I could see it right behind the counter. I explained that I’m currently out of work and just needed six inches of tape to seal the box, but she didn’t care. I’ve never experienced such a lack of basic kindness or customer service over something so small. UPS should train staff to show a little compassion, especially for people just trying to make a simple return. I left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of — all over a few inches of tape.
