- RMRight MindedOct 7, 20251.0I have called this office in Middletown multiple times throughout the day today from the time they opened to them almost closing at this point. Not once has someone picked up the phone and I haven’t received any call backs or help management please fix this office. Even if it takes firing lazy workers this isn’t acceptable do a clean sweep on the staff.

It was coming from storrs and it takes 2 days to get here. I've already filed a complaint yesterday with the main post office.

I walked in with my mom to ship back a few packages this morning. When we get to the desk there’s this lady and from what I was guessing it could be a male friend or coworker, and they were talking. At first I thought it may be a customer she was helping out, but no. They were just chatting. They saw that me and my mom were there and kept going with their conversation. My mom even politely asked if this is where you return packages and the lady nodded and kept going with her conversation. The man turned around to face us and laughed saying “oh you know this is how it is in America”. Like I’m sorry but no. Just because my mom has an accent doesn’t mean you get to make a comment like that. Thankfully someone else came to the counter just as this lady finished her conversation because I was not about to be helped by her. The guy was really nice and helpful. If it wasn’t for him I’d give this place one star. Very racist and unprofessional.
