- RFRyan FabryJan 3, 20201.0I had a package that was actually delivered which was opened and had its contents stolen. Not sure if contents were stolen somewhere else during the many stops my package made from Texas to here, but I was told that the package never would have been placed in my mailbox if it was opened. So according to the JC post office, either someone broke into my mailbox and stole the contents and put the package back in my mailbox (which didn't happen since my son watched the mail being delivered and then went to retrieve it) or the opened package went unfortunately unnoticed and was delivered anyway. I would hate to assume that anyone associated with the JC postal office had anything to do with the theft, but I can't be sure of anything - bottom line remains that the package was delivered against postal protocols. I was left with no case since the package was marked as being delivered and I have no chance of any refund. A pretty good scam perpetuated by someone along the federal delivery route.

But, substitute mail carriers pull into my already existing, badly damaged driveway, to bring me my packages. Whether one or more packages and don't ring the bell ever. I'm disabled and need to have time to be alerted when my packages are being delivered! I have spoken with the postmaster there. Is it not their job too, to ring the bell, when delivering customer's packages!!!!!
