- ISIan SchroederDec 5, 20251.0Go to the Shelton office. Kim told me, very nastily, that they do not have boxes at this post office location. I had to go elsewhere to mail what I needed to, and thank God for that. The woman behind the counter ruins the experience. I've been going to this location for years and the customer service is ALWAYS the same. Kim also refused to tell me that I would not be charged for supplies if I had priority shipping. I regret giving this location business.

Today I had to go to Ansonia because of Kim and there I was treated with respect and very professional. I’ll never go to Derby post office again.

Her conduct is inappropriate for someone in a role that requires interaction with the public. Numerous other reviews highlight similar experiences with her, indicating a consistent pattern of unprofessionalism that clearly goes back several years. If you've shared a similar experience make sure you make a formal complaint via USPS website. This employees behavior is clearly unacceptable and has been going on for too long. Incredible that the conduct has not been addressed yet.
